Joe and Stephanie’s | Dreamy Eagle, Idaho Engagement Session

There is something to be said about summer engagement sessions. The warm summer evenings, the evening glow, the birds, the high water of the Boise River, the lushes green trees and the wildflowers that are in full bloom. I absolutely love Eagle for engagement sessions. The Boise River is absolutely beautiful, the greenbelt offers a wide variety of shade and the evening glow is absolutely breathtaking.

After getting to know Joe and Stephanie over email I knew that Reid Merrill Park would be the perfect location for Joe and Stephanie’s dreamy summer engagement session. Joe and Stephanie absolute LOVE exploring the greenbelt! This particular evening in August was a cool one! We are normally in the high 90’s or the 100’s in August, but we were so lucky to have a 70 degree evening. The cool breeze along the Boise Greenbelt was so refreshing.

This was my first time meeting Joe and Stephanie in person and instantly we hit it off. These two are the kind of people whom you instantly feel comfortable around. The kind of people you desire to be friends with, the kind of people who show the light of Christ. Joe and Stephanie welcomed me into their life and it was such an honor to get to know these two.

Joe had his eyes on Stephanie for quite some time, but he was working up the courage to ask Stephanie out on a date. Stephanie worked with Joe’s dad and it was definitely a risk to take…asking one of Joe’s dad’s co-workers out on a date is definitely risky! What if the date didn’t go well? All of the thoughts of rejection were setting in. Joe decided to wait.

Stephanie soon received a job offer from Mission Aviation and left her previous place of employment. Joe decided this was the perfect time to make a move! Obviously, Stephanie said yes to the first date and the rest is history! Congratulations Joe and Stephanie it was absolutely wonderful getting to know you and I absolutely love how quickly we became friends. Thank you so much for the opportunity to capture this beautiful time in your life.
